On the day, I arrive earlier and blend in like any other visitor.
We agree on a simple signal, the location is set and everything flows naturally.
For those who want to elevate the moment even more, I can also help arrange small details such as a bottle of wine or champagne, or even live music, like a saxophonist, playing at the exact moment he goes down on one knee.
After the proposal, I approach, congratulate you both, and we take a moment to breathe.
From there, we move into a relaxed engagement session in the gardens, walking, talking and allowing the story to continue naturally.
Many of the couples I meet this way invite me to be a part of their journey from the very beginning and often I'm honoured to later photograph their wedding too.
